Frequently asked questions
Yes. Your skills, library, and settings carry forward when you switch plans. Nothing is lost or reset. You can change plans anytime from account settings.
If you don't add a payment method, your Team features turn off — no charge for the trial. Your published skills stay in the catalog, attributed to you. An account you created for Team goes dormant and closes 30 days later unless you subscribe; if you added the trial from a free Publisher account, you simply keep Publisher.
Browsing the public catalog needs no account. Publishing is free on the Publisher tier. Installing and syncing skills into your dev environment runs through the CLI, which starts on the Developer tier at $5/month.
Publisher is free and built for people who publish skills — unlimited publishing, an A–F safety grade on every skill, and verified GitHub identity. Developer is $5/month and adds the consumer side: CLI and agent access with an access key, a personal library of up to 100 skills, and personal sync status. If you install and sync skills from your dev environment, you want Developer.
Every skill gets a two-pass review on publish: static checks plus an AI pass across safety, quality, clarity, and completeness. Each skill ships with an A–F grade and the findings behind it. Grades are signals, not a certification. Always review a skill yourself before use.
Switching between paid plans keeps everything — your skills, library, and settings carry across. If you cancel a paid subscription the account goes dormant: your data is preserved and restored the moment you subscribe again, and after 30 days without resubscribing it closes. Skills you’ve published stay in the public catalog, attributed to you, either way.
Not in the current plans. If SSO, audit logs, or self-hosting is a hard requirement, let us know so we can track interest.
The Publisher tier is free for everyone, so there is nothing to discount. If you have a specific need tied to open-source distribution (higher rate limits for a popular public skill, for example), reach out.
Volume or contract needs?
Most teams are self-serve on the Team plan. If your requirements include custom contract terms, volume licensing, or self-hosting, get in touch.
